This is actually a monastery (known as "The Castle"), which was built by Patrick and Nancy Latta for the sole purpose to foster religious life and vocations for priests and seminarians and young men discerning the priesthood.
Patrick and Nancy also serve the needs of the poor who come to the castle seeking food, medicine, wood, and help with other necessary needs. They, too, operate on Divine Providence.
Our Lady's Children received the call to help rebuild and restore the roof of an elderly woman living in Konjic, Bosnia-Herzegovina. This poor woman had no funds to rebuild the roof and neither did her son or daughter. We placed this mission in the hands of Our Blessed Mother and within a month we raised 15,000 Marks (Bosnian Currency), which is over $10,000 U.S. Dollars: the exact amount needed to complete the work on the roof!
